CANBEE is a real six-panel, fully insulated modular building envelope. We bring decades of building and design experience, the developed system and a strong understanding of what it can do.
What we do not bring is the belief that every answer has already been found.
A RESPONSIBLE INVITATION
This is not a request for production-ready plans or unpaid commercial deliverables. It is a guided learning opportunity developed with schools and instructors. Responsibilities, confidentiality, attribution and any public use of student work are agreed before a project begins.
WHERE STUDENTS ENTER
Smart living, artificial intelligence, robotics, adaptable interiors, heating, energy, raised-floor utilities—and uses none of us have imagined yet.
TOMMY TRANSLATES
Tommy listens while the adults get technical, asks what everyone else forgot to ask and checks whether the idea still makes sense. As long as Tommy has questions, the conversation is not finished.
HOW PARTICIPATION WORKS
CANBEE presents the envelope, geometry and what we know today.
Students identify assumptions, possibilities and missing information.
Teams investigate one focused theme or possible use.
CANBEE and instructors test ideas without forcing production readiness.
Participants share what was learned and what should happen next.
